The Characters
Three handmade puppets, one shared obsession: figuring out why humans do the things humans do. Progress so far: concerning.
Nodd
Nodd is the quiet analyst of human nonsense. He watches meetings, messages, and questionable life choices the way scientists watch weather patterns: calmly, patiently, and with a notebook that is filling up much faster than he'd like.
He reacts rarely. When he does, it's usually one eyebrow. It is always enough.
“Noted. Unfortunately.”
Field notes
- Has observed 14 meetings that could have been an email. Filed all of them under “email.”
- Drinks from a mug labeled Noted. Nobody knows what exactly was noted. Everything, probably.
- Blinks approximately twice per episode. Both times: judgmental.
Mimo
Mimo is the emotional heart of the operation. Coffee panic, text anxiety, overthinking, rethinking the overthinking. If modern life has a feeling, Mimo is currently having it. Loudly. With one more coffee.
Lovable, overwhelmed, and always three minutes away from a completely new emotion.
“I was fine three minutes ago.”
Field notes
- Sent “ok!!” to a group chat, then thought about it for six hours.
- Carries a cup labeled CHAOS. Investigators believe it's not just the coffee.
- Status report: currently fine. Was also fine three minutes ago. Situation developing.
Wobble
Wobble is the weird philosophical observer of the group. Quiet, curious, slightly confused, and accidentally wise. He asks tiny questions that somehow make everyone else stop and stare at the wall for a while.
He doesn't mean to be profound. That's what makes it worse.
“What if that’s the problem?”
Field notes
- Asked “why do we say busy like it's an achievement?” The meeting went very quiet.
- Owns one scarf. It is doing its best.
- Keeps a notebook of TINY QUESTIONS. The answers keep turning out enormous.
The observations are on film.
Watch Nodd, Mimo, and Wobble investigate modern life, one short scene at a time.
